E.L.F Valentines Day Gift Set! And A thank you too E.L.F!

Hello everyone, I've got two E.L.F reviews coming up for you! First off I'm review the Valentines Day Gift Set, that my fiance kindly brought me as my present! Now I must say about the problem that happened, I read on the website that the bag was worth £12 and when I received it I only had 3 Items and the total was not £12. So I then went on the E.L.F Facebook page and kindly ask why it didn't total the price it was set at, I then found out I was missing two products so I email E.L.F on the Friday evening, Can I just say I think that E.L.F has one of the best customer services ever! I can not praise them enough they are AMAZING! I got a email back on the Monday morning and they had shipped it that afternoon! I then got it two days later. I am so impressed with E.L.F they really do make every customer feel special! Honestly they are the best! No doubt about it! Thank you guys at E.L.F! On to the reviews!..

E.L.F Duo Eyeshadow in  Black Licorice and The swatches!
Ahh I really love this eyeshadow! The black is highly pigmented and slightly shimmery and the Silver is the same! I love wearing the Silver all over my eyelid the the back on the outta corners and the crease! Puurfect!

E.L.F Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Ruby Slipper, The applicator and the swatch!

This Luscious Liquid Lipstick is so lovely! I know alot of people don't like the applicator on this lipstick but I love it! You can just twist up as much as you need and thats it, no need to carry round a lip brush! I expected the colour to be slightly more red, but it comes out a pinky red and is very sheer! The formula is also slightly sticky which I don't like! Also its moisturizing which is never a bad thing!

E.L.F Nail polish in Medium Red and The terrible  swatch!

I'm so sorry girls! The swatch of this nail varnish is hideous! I literally painted my nails and hour before and had a few minutes before I was going out when I took all of these photos! Of course everyone loves E.L.F nail varnishes and I don't think this one will be an exception. The colour is a medium red so its not bright more intense and deep! lovely for a dinner out or when your feeling sexy!

E.L.F Brightening Eye Liner in Ash and The swatches!

Ahh I really do like this eyeliner it goes lovely with smokey eyes, The colour is a dark dark grey with what appears to be little bits of glitter/shimmer. Again the swatch is horrific but I've done three different ways of first one I pressed relatively hard, second a lot softer and the 3rd I smudged!

I saved the best till last!
Studio Cream Blush in Seductress and The swatch!

Ahhhh I love this so much! This is defiantly my favorite product of them all, The colour comes out a perfect deep pink and I'm so into my pink blushes at the moment so to receive this i was so happy! I would probably advise using a blush brush with this because when you use your fingers its really quiet hard to blend in as it is so pigmented! you only need the tiniest amount. I also find you have to work quickly or it sinks in/sticks fast. the texture reminds me of play dough to look at but once you've put it on your cheeks it looks just like a powder would. I really do highly recommend and love this product!

All in all I was so pleased with this Valentines Day Gift Set! I gives you everything you need to look pretty for your guy or just your girls! I totally love it! I will add a photo of all the products on my face at some point for you girls!

Did anyone else get the Valentines Day Gift set? What did you think of it?

Elf eyeshadow!

So recently i've been experimenting with different eyeshadows as usually I don't use anything but greys/black and browns/creams. Today I disided to use green! I didn't go overboard as I didn't really know what to expect!
These are the colors I used.

This is the dark grey, I probably should have put these in better order but whatever, Its a matte colour with a shimmer I use this all the time!
This is the colour I use almost everyday as you can see, Its a shimmery medium grey I usually use this as a base and then I can add to it as I please.
Ahh I love this green this photo does it no justice its super bright actually Its the colour next too the one below on the left! This colour is super matte and very pigmented.
This is the olive green I also have now grown to love this. Its matte too and also very pigmented!
The bright green, Olive green, Medium grey and dark grey.

All these colours come from Elf, I've looked for the pallete that I have but I can't find it! I did buy it about a year ago so it might have changed. The product closest too it is the Essential 32 Eyeshadow Palette in Bright which you can find here.. http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/product~prodID~285.htm

This was the look I created.. This was without eyeliner and mascara shame you can't see the green much!

This is with eyeliner and mascara I put on way too much eyeliner :'( can barely see the shadow.

This is the finished product. I super love it. Although it does make my blue eyes look slightly green! but thats okay greens cool. I defiantly think I will be using more colours and buying some new Brightening eyeshadow quads. Please ignore my stray eyebrow hairs I get the waxed so I go through a awkward phase of stubby hairs!

Elf Brightening Eyeshadow in Drama!

Hello everyone, This is Brightening Eyeshadow in Drama!

What the website says about this product.

Brightening Eye Colour

Luxuriously smooth, corn silk formula provides eyes with a neutral base and an awakened brightness. The formula blends into skin for a long lasting, beautiful effect. The 4 colour quad allows for both natural and dramatic looks. Mirror in compact included.

Directions

  • Apply to upper lid
  • Gently glide on powder
  • Blend as desired
Packaging.

These 4 eye shadows come in a small rectangular compact, They are slightly small but okay if your using a brush, The compact has a white back, and a clear lift up lid that is easy to use and very sturdy I can't see it breaking. The compact also has a double sided Eyeshadow applicator which is handed but I some times feel with the small sized eye shadows it can be difficult to get enough colour on the applicator. There is also a small mirror behind where the applicator sits, but it is very small and you can hardly see anything.

Colour.

I LOVE the colour of these 4 eye-shadows. 2 are matte and 2 are glittery so you can glam it up or tone it done depending on what you like.
Theres a matte white in the top left hand corner, A dark grey in middle left which has a pretty glitter in, next too that is a matte black although in tho photo it looks glittery too but I'll put the swatches up so you can see what it looks like, there is also a light glittery grey in the top right corner.

Heres the swatch I tried to take it in the best light possible so you could see the glittery colours, they are also all in the order I put them in above, As you can see the black comes out more matte then the glittery it looks and the light grey is very subtle but very shimmery.

This is how I used it. Sorry the light is terrible!

Overall.

Overall I LOVE this product, I LOVE these colours and I LOVE the way they look when all combined. The shadows glide on effortlessly and are so so easy to use, as with most ELF products! The colours stay on all day, I've used this with and without a eyeshadow primer which I will be reviewing next and without it slightly moves and smudges higher up on my eyelid, but it okay nothing that a cotton bud cant fix! and with primer it stays on all day with no budging or smudging! perfect! I honestly can't find a fault with this product!
