Elf eyeshadow!

So recently i've been experimenting with different eyeshadows as usually I don't use anything but greys/black and browns/creams. Today I disided to use green! I didn't go overboard as I didn't really know what to expect! 

These are the colors I used.

This is the dark grey, I probably should have put these in better order but whatever, Its a matte colour with a shimmer I use this all the time!

 This is the colour I use almost everyday as you can see, Its a shimmery medium grey I usually use this as a base and then I can add to it as I please.

 Ahh I love this green this photo does it no justice its super bright actually Its the colour next too the one below on the left! This colour is super matte and very pigmented.

 This is the olive green I also have now grown to love this. Its matte too and also very pigmented!

The bright green, Olive green, Medium grey and dark grey. 

All these colours come from Elf, I've looked for the pallete that I have but I can't find it! I did buy it about a year ago so it might have changed. This was the look I created.. This was without eyeliner and mascara shame you can't see the green much! 

This is with eyeliner and mascara I put on way too much eyeliner :'( can barely see the shadow.

This is the finished product. I super love it. Although it does make my blue eyes look slightly green! but thats okay greens cool. I defiantly think I will be using more colours and buying some new Brightening eyeshadow quads. Please ignore my stray eyebrow hairs I get the waxed so I go through a awkward phase of stubby hairs!

My all time faverout Elf product ever! The Mineral foundation in Ivory!

Packaging. -

Its a smallish sized tub with a twist off black lid, inside there is a sieve like contraption and under that it the loose powder all you do to get the powder out is shake it side to side or VERY gently tip in upside down ( with th lid still on of course.) and tap it very gently I do warn you!. 

Colour.

I love the colour of this foundation, Its so so pale which is so great for me as i'm snow white almost. I know some people like dark foundation but I just look odd! I have to embrace my pale skin! It really is ivory, most ivory product that i've ever used it has slightly yellow undertones which sets it apart from other foundations that have orange this beauty has no orange. YAY!

Overall. 

This is, my all time favorite without doubt! although I use it as a setting powder for my actual liquid foundation, but im sure it would make such a good foundation i'm just not ready for the powder only thing! Anyway its so smooth and sooo soft it buffs so beautifully onto your skin. The problem i have with this powder is if you tap it too hard too much powder will come out of the sieve and its hard to get it back into the lower half! And the last thing is not too put too much on a brush either as many many times i've put this on and i'm totally covered in fall out, but you can't complain with a product like this for a price of £3.50!

Packaging.

The cover stick comes in a very small cylinder shape twist up tube. I would not recommend twisting the tube up too high as it can be super hard to get it back down and can end up being all smooshed in the tube. Only twist it up the minimal amount! 

Colour.

This is in Ivory, It has a slight yellow undertone which is great for under your eyes, I've never found a concealer that covers my bags as well as this. Its defiantly very yellowy though.

Overall.

I adore the product and the price as its only £1.50 and last a really long time. I tend you use this under my eyes but if I feel like my skins looking a little drab I use it  all over as a base, It can also be used for blemishes as long as you apply it sparsely. It is VERY thick and creamy, but I like that it blends in lovely under foundation, But i'd recomend this most for bags under your eyes!

Elf Eye Primer in Pearl

Elf Eyes Primer in Pearl. Just a quick post!

Directions

Apply a thin coat to the eyelid and blend in. allow formula to dry before applying eyeshadow.

Packaging. 

The eye primer comes in a tube with a twist of applicator brush emursted into the liquid. 

Colour.

The colour of the primer is called pearl, And i suppose it really is pearly more of a white pearl then a creamy coloured one. It has a light shimmer which is nice but it isn't matte.

Overall.

This product is fab, I find it really smooth going on blends in wonderfully and sets fast which is really great! The colour works well with smokey eyes or just on its on for a lighter look. It contains a small amount of shimmer but it doesn't make much difference once you have eyeshadow on as it goes on quiet sheer. I think the is great and especially for the price!

Elf studio Eyebrow kit!

So here's the Elf Studio line Eyebrow kit, I brought this in light as I'm not keen on dark eyebrows with red hair!

Directions

Use the pigmented brow gel to define and shape the brows with the angled brush for precise lines. Set the color in with the brow powder and fill in with the blending brush for a natural finished look.

Packaging.

So this eyebrow kit comes in a cute little black compact which is silm and easy to carry as it doesn't use much space. There is also a mirror on the underside of the lid which is extremly useful. The Gel is on one side and the powder is on the other, there is also a small space underneth both where the double sided taklon brush sits and does not move.

Colour.

The Gel part of the eyebrow kit is smooth and glossy, although I would also say it is more creamy then gel like. The colour is well pigmented but very soft.

The powder side is used for setting the gel and perhaps enhancing the colour and taking away the gels shine. Its loose and very very soft.

In the compact. 

Here's a swatch of the gel and powder, as you can see the gel looks more cream like and the powder is very soft.

This is them layered gel under the powder. You can see its easy to build up colour with the gel and then tone it back down again with the powder. I really really like how it takes the gels shine away.

The brush.

Inside the small compact is a double ended taflon brush that looks like this...

The angled side..

On the website it says that this end of the brush can be used for enhancing arches and precise lines. Although, I use it to do my whole eyebrow. Its really really pointed and hard to go wrong with considering this was the first eyebrow kit I have ever used. The angled brush really helps with aiding the shape and lines.

The 'Other side'..

They don't have a name for this other side. How upsetting I shall call it the powder applicator side as thats what I use it for. Once I have finished applying the gel and i'm happy with the way it looks I use this side dabbing the brush in the powder and then over the top of my eyebrows. It sets the gel and fills in any gaps it also takes away the shine of the gel which I really really like.

Overall.

Overall I think this is a great product, You can use it day time and night time. I also like the quality of this product for the price £3.50 Elf never ever fails to amaze me! I would definitely recommend this product to a friend as its so easy to use even for a complete novice (Hello, I managed!). The colours are well pigmented and I suppose you could use them separately too depending on what you prefer. Just make sure you get the right colour, I think I might try ash next!

Elf lipstick! In Sociable!

Okay so this is Elf lipstick in sociable.

Packaging.

So this lipstick comes in a average sized lipstick holder and its very easy to use. Just a twist up. Mine has not broken as yet but i've seen many complaints of them breaking although mine never has and i've have had a few.

Colour.

I love the colour of this lipstick, Its a bright pink with blue undertones although, when I was looking at it the other day it seemed slightly red, which didn't bother me but i thought if people wanted a really bright pink lipstick this wouldn't be right for them. I'll put some photo's below for you too see.

 This is it on my lips! I really love this colour and it goes on perfectly. In fact I didn't realize until I put it on it contained silvery glitter! fabulous and so pretty.

Overall.

Overall I really really liked this lipstick the pigmentation isn't bad but it isn't extra amazing either and for only £1.50 can you really go wrong? It isn't as smooth as I would normally like but that because of the glitter it feels slightly sandy on your lips. The colour is very matte and not at all shiny which is fabulous as I like to add my own shine to my lipsticks.  It is moisturizing, and stays on for quite a while I even think it stained my lips after I had taken it off.

In total I think this is a fabulous piece of make-up and well worth the £1.50!
